Mary Jo Clark & Pat Heiny of Contemporary Consulting out of Richmond, Indiana will facilitate Emergence sessions I & II covering such topics as learning styles, personal mission & vision statements, teambuilding, understanding leadership styles and servant leadership principles. Pat and Mary Jo have extensive experience with leadership development for organizations, corporations and communities throughout the country.  Their high energy and engaging style create comfortable and productive sessions that set a welcoming tone for the rest of the program.



Jeremy King

Flash Point HR


Jeremy King of FlashPoint HR out of Indianapolis, Indiana will lead sessions III & IV presenting topics such as consensus building, communication techniques, conflict management, listening skills and group facilitation. Currently a business development manager with FlashPoint, Jeremy ran his own customized training and development firm, serving clients throughout the United States as well as Canada and Mexico. He has experience working with groups ranging from entry-level employees to Fortune 500 executives.



Richard Crist

Chief Operating Officer, Whitinger & Company

Richard Crist of Whitinger & Company out of Muncie, Indiana will lead session VI discussing how leaders can build trust with others. Richard has nearly twenty years of leadership experience including creating and leading teams that have accomplished numerous industry leading performances. Prior to serving as COO at Whitinger & Company, Richard served in the capacity of President of a multi-media company where he earned the reputation as an innovative leader with the ability to attract top talent and build high-performing, high-character teams. In 2008, he also founded Waymaker Consulting, an independent business development firm.


David Neidert

Instructor, Anderson University

David Neidert of Anderson, Indiana is an author, speaker and college instructor at Anderson University. David will facilitate the final two Emergence sessions covering topics such as effective community engagement, committee participation, board leadership, local government and personal action plans. David has authored two books on leadership and mission development as well as numerous nationally published articles. He has been privileged to speak at over 200 venues during the past 20 years on the topics of leadership and personal mission.
